Brief Overview

The fairy tale «Riquet with the Tuft» tells the story of two princesses, one of whom was very beautiful but foolish, while the other was intelligent but unattractive. Meanwhile, in a neighboring kingdom, a prince named Riquet was born, who was very clever but not handsome. He possessed a magical gift: he could bestow intelligence upon the one he loved. Riquet fell in love with the beautiful princess and offered her his help. She agreed, and thanks to his gift, she became intelligent. In turn, the princess, having fallen in love with Riquet, made him handsome. In the end, both found happiness, overcoming their shortcomings through love and mutual support.
