Main Characters and Their Development

• Katniss Everdeen: The main protagonist, a victor of the previous Hunger Games. In this book, she becomes a symbol of rebellion against the Capitol. Katniss struggles with internal conflicts, trying to understand her role in the revolution and her feelings for Peeta and Gale.
• Peeta Mellark: A victor of the Hunger Games alongside Katniss. In this book, his relationship with Katniss becomes more complicated as they are forced to pretend to be in love for the public. Peeta also becomes a victim of the Capitol's manipulations.

• Primrose Everdeen: Katniss's younger sister, who becomes a symbol of hope for Katniss. Prim grows and becomes more independent, playing an important role in supporting her family.
• President Snow: The antagonist, ruler of the Capitol. In this book, his cruelty and manipulations become even more apparent as he tries to suppress the rebellion and destroy Katniss.
