Main Characters and Their Development

• Gelsomino - the main character of the book, a boy with an extraordinarily loud voice who travels to the Country of Liars, where everyone is forced to lie. His voice becomes a symbol of truth and justice, and he helps the country's inhabitants free themselves from the tyranny of lies.
• Zopino the Cat - a cat who, in the Country of Liars, is forced to pretend to be a dog. He becomes a friend and ally to Gelsomino, helping him in the fight against lies.
• King Giacomone - the tyrant ruling the Country of Liars. He forces everyone to lie and maintains order through deceit. Eventually, his power crumbles thanks to Gelsomino.
• Benvenuto - an artist who is forced to paint only false pictures. He also becomes a friend to Gelsomino and aids him in his mission.
• Romoletta - a girl who helps Gelsomino and his friends. She is one of the first to start speaking the truth in the Country of Liars.
