Main Characters and Their Development

Percy shows bravery, determination, and a willingness to sacrifice himself for others.
• Frank Zhang - the son of Mars, who initially doubts his abilities and origins. As the story progresses, he gains confidence, discovers his unique abilities, and accepts his destiny as a hero. Frank also learns to trust his friends and becomes an important part of the team.
• Hazel Levesque - the daughter of Pluto, who returns to life after death and struggles with guilt over her past. In the book, she battles her inner demons and gradually accepts herself as she is. Hazel demonstrates resilience and kindness, and discovers new powers that help her and her friends in their adventures.
