Main Characters and Their Development

• Jason Grace - One of the main characters who loses his memory at the beginning of the book and doesn't remember who he is. As the story unfolds, he learns that he is the son of Jupiter (the Roman version of Zeus) and a leader of the Roman camp for demigods. Jason gradually regains his memories and accepts his role in the upcoming war against the giants.
• Piper McLean - The daughter of Aphrodite, who possesses the gift of persuasion, known as charmspeak. At the start of the book, she struggles with self-doubt and the fear of losing her friends. As the story progresses, Piper learns to use her abilities and becomes more confident, playing a key role in saving her friends.
• Leo Valdez - The son of Hephaestus, who has the ability to control fire. Leo often feels like an outsider due to his unusual ability, but throughout the book, he finds his place in the team and begins to accept himself as he is. He also builds and pilots the ship "Argo II," which becomes an important part of their mission.
