Main Characters and Their Development

• Aziraphale - an angel and enigmatic book lover who, over the centuries, has come to enjoy earthly life. He evolves from a representative of Heaven to a being more connected with human values and earthly existence.
• Crowley - a demon who was originally the serpent in the Garden of Eden. Over his time on Earth, he has developed a fondness for human weaknesses and has become less evil, even striving to prevent the apocalypse alongside Aziraphale.
• Adam Young - a boy who is the Antichrist. Unaware of his true nature, he is raised as an ordinary child. He finds himself at the center of the struggle between good and evil, choosing his own, unexpected path.
• Anathema Device - a witch and descendant of Agnes Nutter, who arrives in Tadfield to fulfill her ancestor's prophecies. Throughout the story, she encounters numerous strange events that help her realize her destiny.
• Newton Pulsifer - a member of the Witchfinder Army who accidentally meets Anathema and assists her in her quest. His role in the story evolves from a mundane bureaucrat to a key participant in the events.
• The Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse (War, Famine, Pestilence, Death) - depicted as embodiments of their concepts, each with their own character and motivation. They gather with the intent to start the apocalypse.
