Parmenides

Structure and Organization

Plato's dialogue «Parmenides» consists of two main parts. The first part is a conversation between the young Socrates and the elderly Parmenides, where ideas and forms are discussed. The second part consists of a series of dialectical exercises conducted by Parmenides and his student Zeno, exploring various hypotheses about the one and the many. The dialogue concludes without definitive answers, leaving the reader with open questions.
