Main Characters and Their Development

• Joseph - the main character, the youngest son of Jacob, who undergoes numerous trials, from being sold into slavery by his brothers to becoming the second most powerful man in Egypt after Pharaoh. His character evolves from a naive youth to a wise and insightful leader.
• Jacob - Joseph's father, a patriarch who favors Joseph among his sons, causing envy and hatred among his brothers. His love for Joseph and belief in his destiny remain unwavering.
• Reuben - Joseph's eldest brother, who tries to save him from death by suggesting they throw him into a pit, hoping to return him to their father later. His character shows an internal struggle between duty and brotherly love.
• Judah - one of Joseph's brothers, who suggests selling Joseph into slavery instead of killing him. He later plays a crucial role in reconciling with Joseph, showing his capacity for repentance and change.
