Summary

«A Wizard of Earthsea» tells the story of a young boy named Ged, who possesses magical abilities. He grows up on the island of Gont and learns magic from a local witch. Soon, his talent is noticed by a powerful mage named Ogion, who takes him as an apprentice. However, Ged yearns for more and sets off to a school of wizardry on the island of Roke. There, due to his pride and recklessness, he unleashes a dark creature into the world, which begins to pursue him.
