Main Characters and Their Development

• Johnny Truant - a young editor who discovers the manuscript of the old man Zampanò and begins to explore it. As he reads and edits the manuscript, Johnny gradually loses touch with reality, descending into a world of fear and paranoia.
• Zampanò - a blind old man, the author of the manuscript in which he analyzes the film «The Navidson Record». His life and personality remain a mystery, but his work has a profound impact on Johnny.
• Will Navidson - the main character of «The Navidson Record», a photojournalist who moves with his family into a new house. He encounters inexplicable phenomena in the house, leading him to become obsessed with investigating these occurrences.
• Karen Green - Will Navidson's wife, who tries to keep the family together amidst the strange happenings in the house. Her relationship with Will undergoes severe tests.
• Tom Navidson - Will's brother, who helps him investigate the house. He plays an important role in supporting Will but also faces his own fears and doubts.
• Holloway Roberts - a professional explorer hired by Will to study the house. His obsession with the research leads to tragic consequences.
