Brief Overview
«Ivan Turbincă» is the story of a soldier named Ivan who, after completing his service, receives a magical bag from God as a reward. This bag can capture anything Ivan desires. Ivan uses it to trap Death inside, effectively halting death on Earth. However, he soon realizes that the world cannot exist without death, and he releases her. In gratitude, Death promises not to take Ivan until he wishes to die. Ivan continues his adventures, using the bag for various purposes, and eventually decides to visit the afterlife to see how things are there. Ultimately, Ivan remains in paradise, where he is welcomed with honors.
