Summary
In Cassandra Clare's book «City of Glass», Clary Fray travels to the city of Alicante, the capital of the Shadowhunter world, to find a way to save her mother. Meanwhile, Valentine Morgenstern is gathering a demon army to attack the city. Clary learns more about her past and her abilities, as well as the fact that her brother Jonathan (Sebastian) is a traitor. In the final battle, the Shadowhunters unite with the Downworlders to stop Valentine. Clary uses her unique abilities to create a new rune that helps defeat Valentine and save the world. At the end of the book, Clary and Jace confess their feelings for each other.
