Moydodyr

Brief Overview

In the book «Moydodyr» by Korney Chukovsky, the story revolves around a boy who refuses to wash and faces consequences for it. One day, all his belongings come to life and start running away from him because he is dirty. A washstand named Moydodyr appears in the room, scolding the boy for his lack of cleanliness and explaining the importance of being clean. Moydodyr sends washing supplies after him to catch him and make him wash. Eventually, the boy realizes his mistake, washes himself, and all his belongings return to their places. The story teaches children the importance of hygiene and cleanliness.
