Main Characters and Their Development

• Eadlyn Schreave — the main character, heir to the throne of Illéa. At the beginning of the book, she appears as a confident yet somewhat arrogant princess who does not want to marry. However, as the story progresses, she begins to realize the importance of her duties and responsibilities to the country. Eadlyn learns to be more open and understanding, which helps her become a more mature and wise ruler.
• Erik (Eikko) — a translator who helps Eadlyn communicate with one of the contestants. Initially, he seems like a minor character, but over time, romantic feelings develop between him and Eadlyn. Erik proves to be a kind and sensitive person who supports Eadlyn in difficult moments.
• Kile Woodwork — Eadlyn's childhood friend and one of the contestants. Initially, he is not interested in marrying Eadlyn, but as the story unfolds, their relationship becomes more complex. Kile demonstrates loyalty and support, which aids Eadlyn in her personal growth.
• Hale Garner — a contestant who catches Eadlyn's attention with his sincerity and kindness. He becomes one of her close friends and supports her in tough times. Hale helps Eadlyn see the importance of honesty and openness in relationships.
• Marid Illea — an ambitious and charismatic young man who tries to manipulate the situation to his advantage. He poses a threat to Eadlyn and her family, forcing her to make difficult decisions and strengthen her position as the future queen.
