Summary

The comedy «Ivan Vasilievich» by Mikhail Bulgakov tells the story of incredible adventures resulting from a scientific experiment. Engineer-inventor Nikolai Timofeev creates a time machine that accidentally transports Ivan Vasilievich Bunsha, a building manager, and Georges Miloslavsky, a petty thief, to the 16th century during the reign of Ivan the Terrible. Meanwhile, Tsar Ivan the Terrible finds himself in 1930s Moscow. This exchange of eras leads to numerous comedic situations and misunderstandings, resulting in humorous and absurd consequences.
