Main Characters and Their Development

• Alexander Cold - the main character, a fifteen-year-old boy who goes on an expedition to the Amazon with his grandmother. Throughout the journey, he overcomes his fears, becomes more confident and mature, discovers new abilities, and learns to understand and respect the nature and culture of indigenous peoples.
• Nadia Santos - a young girl living in the jungle who becomes Alexander's friend and ally. She has a deep understanding of nature and spiritual insight, which aids her and Alexander in their adventures. Nadia plays a key role in uncovering the mysteries of the Amazon and saving its inhabitants.
• Kate Cold - Alexander's grandmother, an experienced journalist who leads him on the expedition. She is strict but caring, and her wisdom and experience help Alexander on his journey. Kate also learns to trust her grandson more and acknowledges his abilities.
• Omaira - a shaman of the tribe who assists Alexander and Nadia on their journey. He is the keeper of ancient knowledge and traditions, and his guidance proves invaluable in their mission.
• Captain Ariél Torres - the leader of the expedition, who initially seems tough and distrustful but gradually reveals himself as someone deeply concerned about the fate of the Amazon and its people.
