Main Characters and Their Development

• Rosie Dunne - the main heroine of the book, who has been friends with Alex Stewart since childhood. She dreams of becoming a hotel manager, but her plans change when she learns about her pregnancy. Rosie goes through many trials but eventually finds her happiness and professional recognition.
• Alex Stewart - Rosie's best friend since childhood, who moves to America to become a doctor. Despite the distance, he keeps in touch with Rosie and supports her in difficult times. Alex also goes through his personal and professional challenges before realizing his true feelings for Rosie.
• Katie Dunne - Rosie's daughter, who grows and develops throughout the book. She becomes an important part of Rosie's life and helps her realize the importance of family and love.
• Greg Collins - Rosie's ex-husband and Katie's father. Their relationship is complicated and tense, but eventually, Rosie understands that she needs to move on without him.
