Vacations in Prostokvashino

Main Characters and Their Development

• Uncle Fyodor - a boy who loves animals and adventures. He is independent and responsible, often taking the initiative and caring for his friends. In the book, he spends his vacation in the village of Prostokvashino with Matroskin and Sharik.
• Matroskin - a talking cat who lives in Prostokvashino. He is practical, loves order, and is hardworking. In the book, he manages the household and helps Uncle Fyodor.
• Sharik - a talking dog, friend of Uncle Fyodor and Matroskin. He is good-natured but sometimes lazy. In the book, he participates in various adventures and helps his friends.
• Pechkin - the postman from Prostokvashino. At the beginning of the book, he is strict and grumpy, but gradually becomes more friendly and helps the main characters.
• Uncle Fyodor's parents - his mom and dad, who initially disapprove of his trips to Prostokvashino but later understand how important this place is to him and support him.
