Brief Overview
The novel "Spring Torrents" by Ivan Turgenev tells the story of love and disappointment experienced by a young Russian nobleman, Dmitry Sanin. While traveling through Europe, he meets a young Italian woman, Gemma Roselli, in the German city of Frankfurt am Main and falls in love with her.
