However, after meeting Jamie, he begins to change, becoming more responsible, sensitive, and mature. His love for Jamie helps him understand the importance of true values and spiritual growth.
• Jamie Sullivan - the main heroine, the daughter of the local pastor. She is a kind, modest, and deeply religious girl who is always ready to help others. Despite her illness, she maintains optimism and faith in the best. Her relationship with Landon helps her open up and experience true love, as well as show others the strength of spirit and faith.
