Summary

«Twelfth Night» is a comedy by William Shakespeare set in the fictional land of Illyria. The main character, Viola, finds herself ashore after a shipwreck and, believing her brother Sebastian to be dead, decides to disguise herself as a man and enter the service of Duke Orsino under the name Cesario. Orsino is in love with Countess Olivia and sends Viola to her with love messages. However, Olivia falls in love with Cesario, unaware that it is actually Viola. Meanwhile, Sebastian, who has survived, also arrives in Illyria, leading to a series of comedic misunderstandings.
