Main Characters and Their Development

• Lord Peter Wimsey - the main character, an aristocrat and amateur detective, who is enjoying his honeymoon with his wife but soon finds himself involved in a murder investigation. His character is revealed through his wit, intelligence, and deductive ability. In this book, he also shows more personal and emotional sides of his personality, especially in his relationship with his wife.
• Harriet Vane - Peter Wimsey's wife, a writer and former murder suspect (from previous books in the series). In 'Busman's Honeymoon,' she is portrayed as a smart and independent woman who supports and assists her husband in the investigation. Her character develops through her interactions with Peter and other characters, as well as her reflections on marriage and personal freedom.
• Bunter - the butler who works in the house where the murder takes place. He is depicted as a loyal and competent servant, but his behavior and actions arouse suspicion in Peter and Harriet.
