Tale of Cipollino

Main Characters and Their Development

• Cipollino - the main character, an onion boy who fights for justice and helps his friends. At the beginning of the book, he is naive and carefree, but as the story progresses, he becomes more responsible and determined.
• Señor Tomato - the main antagonist, a cruel and authoritative ruler who oppresses the inhabitants of the vegetable kingdom. His character remains unchanged throughout the book.
• Prince Lemon - another antagonist, an arrogant and selfish ruler who supports Señor Tomato. By the end of the book, he loses his power.
• Master Pear - a wise and kind teacher who helps Cipollino and his friends. His character remains constant.
• Radish - a friend of Cipollino who helps him in the fight against injustice. He is brave and loyal, and his character develops towards greater determination.
• Pea - another friend of Cipollino, known for his kindness and loyalty. His character also becomes more resolute as the story unfolds.
