Lullaby

Summary

The novel «Lullaby» by Chuck Palahniuk tells the story of journalist Carl Streator, who investigates a series of mysterious infant deaths. He discovers that the cause of these deaths is an ancient African lullaby capable of killing anyone who hears it. Carl decides to use this lullaby as a weapon and teams up with Helen Hoover Boyle, a realtor who is also aware of its power. Together, they embark on a journey to find and destroy all copies of the lullaby, but soon begin to use it for their own purposes. The novel explores themes of power, morality, and human nature.
