The Living Hat

Summary

In the story «The Living Hat» by Nikolai Nosov, two boys, Vova and Vadik, find a hat in a room that unexpectedly starts to move. They get scared and think the hat is alive. Vova and Vadik try to figure out what's happening and eventually discover that a kitten is hiding under the hat. The story teaches not to fear the unknown and to seek reasonable explanations for strange occurrences.
