Main Characters and Their Development

• Nathan Bishop: Nathan is the first character to fall into the trap of Slade House. He is a boy with autism who visits the house with his mother. His disappearance marks the beginning of a chain of events linked to the house.
• Gordon Edmonds: Gordon is a police officer investigating Nathan's disappearance. He also falls into the house's trap and becomes one of its victims.
• Sally Timms: Sally is a student who, along with her friends, decides to explore Slade House. She becomes the house's next victim.
• Freya Timms: Freya is Sally's sister, a journalist trying to uncover the mystery of her sister's disappearance. She too falls into the house's trap.
• Norah and Jonah Grayer: Norah and Jonah are twins who own Slade House. They use the house to lure and consume the souls of their victims to prolong their lives. Their development shows their gradual realization of the inevitability of their existence's end.
