Main Characters and Their Development

• Isaac Dan der Grimnebulin - a scientist specializing in crisis energy. He begins his journey as a university lecturer, but his life is turned upside down when he takes on the task of creating artificial wings for his moth. In the process, he uncovers the city's dark secrets and becomes an unwitting hero fighting against evil.
• Lin - an insectoid artist and Isaac's lover. She takes on a dubious project for a powerful crime boss, leading to unforeseen and dangerous consequences not only for herself but also for Isaac and the entire city.
• Yagharek - a member of the Garuda race, an outcast stripped of his wings for a crime, who comes to Isaac for help in creating artificial wings. His journey in search of redemption leads to profound reflections on justice, identity, and the possibility of personal transformation.
• The Moth - a dangerous creature accidentally released by Isaac. Its ability to steal souls leads to a series of horrifying events in the city, making it one of the key antagonists of the novel.
