Summary

The protagonist of the book «Draft», Kirill Maksimov, suddenly discovers that his life has been erased: friends and family no longer recognize him, his documents are invalid, and his apartment is occupied by strangers. In search of answers, Kirill finds a mysterious tower where he is offered the role of a «customs officer»—a person who controls the passages between parallel worlds. He agrees and begins to travel through various worlds, each with its own unique features and laws. Throughout his journey, Kirill tries to understand who erased him from reality and why, and how he can reclaim his former life. Along the way, he faces numerous moral and ethical questions related to his new role and its impact on the destinies of people and worlds.
