• Pippi Longstocking is a girl with extraordinary strength, kindness, and endless imagination. She lives in her home, Villa Villekulla, with her horse and a monkey named Mr. Nilsson. Pippi doesn't adhere to conventional rules and norms, which puzzles adults, yet she has a big heart and is always ready to help.
• Tommy and Annika are brother and sister living next door to Pippi. They become her best friends and often join her in her amazing adventures. Through their friendship with Pippi, they learn to value freedom, friendship, and fun.
