Main Characters and Their Development

• Digory Kirke - the main character, a boy who, along with Polly, travels to magical worlds. At the beginning of the book, he is shown as curious and brave, but also somewhat naive. As the story progresses, he becomes more responsible and mature, especially after facing the consequences of his actions in other worlds.
• Polly Plummer - Digory's friend who accompanies him on his journeys. She is a smart and determined girl who often shows common sense and caution. Polly helps Digory in his adventures and supports him in difficult moments.
