Summary

The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe is the second book in the Chronicles of Narnia series, written by C.S. Lewis. It tells the story of the four Pevensie children: Peter, Susan, Edmund, and Lucy, who find themselves in the magical land of Narnia through a mystical wardrobe. Once in Narnia, they discover that the land is under the tyranny of the evil White Witch, and only the true king of Narnia, the lion Aslan, can free it from her grasp. Together with Aslan and new friends, the children join the fight against the Witch. During this journey, Edmund, who initially betrayed his siblings for personal gain, finds redemption. The book is filled with adventures, battles, and heroic deeds, ultimately showing the triumph of good over evil. The children become kings and queens of Narnia, ruling for years until they return to their world, where almost no time has passed.
