Summary

In the novel «Forest Dark» by Nicole Krauss, two parallel stories unfold. The first story follows Jules Epstein, a successful lawyer from New York, who, after the death of his parents and a divorce, decides to travel to Israel to make sense of his life and leave a legacy.
