Main Characters and Their Development

• Jules Epstein - a successful lawyer from New York who, after the death of his parents and a divorce, decides to travel to Israel to find himself and discover the meaning of life. His journey becomes a spiritual quest, during which he encounters various people and situations that help him reevaluate his life and values.
• Nicole - a writer who also travels to Israel in search of inspiration and personal answers. She is experiencing a crisis in her marriage and creativity, and her journey becomes a way to sort out her feelings and find a new path in life. Along the way, she confronts questions of identity, memory, and heritage.
