Brief Overview

In the small town of Haven, Maine, writer Bobbi Anderson stumbles upon an alien ship buried in the woods. Together with her friend, poet Jim Gardener, she begins excavating it, leading to strange and frightening consequences. The townspeople start to be affected by the ship, gaining supernatural abilities while losing their humanity. Jim, the only one not influenced, tries to stop the spread of the alien influence and save Bobbi and the other residents. Ultimately, he sacrifices himself to destroy the ship and save the world from the threat.
