Main Characters and Their Development
- Tenar - the main protagonist of the book, who at the beginning of the story is a priestess of the Tombs of Atuan. She was chosen in childhood and raised in isolation to serve the Nameless Ones. As the plot develops, Tenar begins to doubt her role and destiny, leading to her internal conflict and search for freedom. Her encounter with the wizard Ged becomes a turning point in her life, helping her realize her true essence and choose freedom and independence.
- Ged - a wizard from Earthsea who infiltrates the Tombs of Atuan in search of an ancient artifact. His appearance in Tenar's life acts as a catalyst for her transformation. Ged is portrayed as a wise and experienced wizard who, despite his powers, shows patience and understanding towards Tenar, helping her realize her independence and strength.
