Psychological Types
Methodology and Conclusions
In «Psychological Types», Carl Gustav Jung employs analytical psychology to explore various personality types. Jung's methodology is based on clinical observations and analysis of historical and literary sources. He identifies two main orientations of personality: extraversion and introversion, as well as four functions of consciousness: thinking, feeling, sensation, and intuition. Jung argues that combinations of these orientations and functions form different psychological types. Jung's conclusions are that understanding these types can aid in personal development and improve interpersonal relationships. He emphasizes the importance of awareness and integration of different aspects of personality to achieve psychological health and wholeness.
