Main Characters and Their Development

• Little Zaches, Called Cinnabar - a small, dwarf-like person whose appearance radically changes after magical intervention, making him beautiful and earning him unconditional love and admiration from society. Throughout the story, his incredible luck and influence are based on deception and magical means, ultimately leading to his exposure.
• The Prince - one of the characters, under the influence of Zaches's deception, bestows titles and lands upon him, blindly trusting his magical charm. However, as the plot unfolds, he begins to doubt Zaches's true nature and eventually comes to understand his real character.
• Professor Zauberloch - the magician who gives Zaches a potion that changes his appearance and makes him irresistible to others. The professor plays a key role in transforming Zaches from an ugly creature into a handsome one, but also in his downfall, as it is the magic that leads to the investigation and exposure of Zaches.
