Summary

«Siddhartha» by Hermann Hesse tells the story of a young Brahmin named Siddhartha who embarks on a spiritual journey in search of enlightenment. He leaves his home to join ascetics but finds no satisfaction. He then encounters the Buddha but decides to seek his own path. Siddhartha immerses himself in a world of pleasure, wealth, and love, only to realize their emptiness.
