Brief Overview

«Heretics of Dune» is the fifth book in Frank Herbert's Dune Chronicles series. The story takes place fifteen hundred years after the events of «God Emperor of Dune». The Empire is in chaos following the death of Leto II. At the heart of the plot is the power struggle among various factions, including the Bene Gesserit, the Tleilaxu, and new forces that have emerged after the Great Scattering. The Bene Gesserit strive to maintain control over the Empire and protect their interests using their abilities and manipulations.
