Main Characters and Their Development

• Will Graham: A former FBI agent with a unique ability to empathize with criminals. He comes out of retirement to catch the serial killer known as the Tooth Fairy. During the investigation, Graham confronts his own inner demons and past traumas, especially related to his previous case with Hannibal Lecter.
• Hannibal Lecter: A brilliant psychiatrist and serial killer who is incarcerated. Lecter plays a crucial role in the investigation, providing Graham with information and advice, though his motives remain unclear. His manipulations and intellectual games with Graham add depth to his character.
• Francis Dolarhyde: The main antagonist, known as the Tooth Fairy. He suffers from severe psychological trauma related to his childhood and believes he is transforming into a powerful being, the Red Dragon. His development shows a gradual descent into madness and a struggle with his inner demons.
