Summary
The novel «The Broker» by John Grisham tells the story of Joel Backman, a powerful lawyer and lobbyist who finds himself at the center of an international conspiracy. After serving six years in prison for his involvement in a scandal involving the sale of secret satellite technology, Backman receives an unexpected pardon from the President of the United States.
