Summary

The main character, Ilya Goryunov, is released from prison after serving seven years for a crime he didn't commit. He returns to Moscow to seek revenge on the police officer Pyotr Khazin, who framed him. Ilya accidentally kills Khazin and takes his phone, through which he begins to live another man's life, interacting with Khazin's close ones and gradually immersing himself in his world.
