Main Characters and Their Development

• Artyom: The main character of the book, a young man living at the VDNKh station. At the beginning of the book, he appears as an ordinary metro resident, but as the story progresses, Artyom becomes more determined and brave. He embarks on a dangerous journey through the metro to save his station from the threat of the Dark Ones. Along the way, Artyom faces various challenges that toughen his character and make him more mature and responsible.
• Hunter: A mysterious stalker who appears at the beginning of the book and gives Artyom the task of reaching Polis to warn of the impending threat. Hunter is an experienced fighter and explorer who fears no danger and is willing to do anything to save humanity. His figure remains shrouded in mystery throughout the book.
• Sukhoi: Artyom's adoptive father and the head of the VDNKh station. Sukhoi cares for his adoptive son and strives to protect the station from various threats. He is a wise and experienced leader who is respected by the station's residents.
• Miller: One of the leaders of the Spartan Order, a military organization protecting the metro from various threats. Miller assists Artyom on his journey and becomes his mentor. He is an experienced warrior and strategist who is willing to do anything to protect the metro and its inhabitants.
• Bourbon: A smuggler who accompanies Artyom on one leg of his journey. Bourbon is a cunning and resourceful character who is used to surviving in the harsh conditions of the metro. Despite his flaws, he helps Artyom and becomes his temporary ally.
• Ulman: A fighter of the Spartan Order who accompanies Artyom and Miller on their journey. Ulman is an experienced soldier and loyal companion who is ready to risk his life to complete the mission.
