The Graveyard Book

Summary

Neil Gaiman's «The Graveyard Book» tells the story of a boy named Nobody Owens, who is saved and taken in by the inhabitants of a graveyard after his family is killed by a mysterious man named Jack. Nobody, or simply Bod, grows up among ghosts, vampires, and other supernatural beings who become his mentors and protectors. He learns various skills and knowledge from them that help him survive and thrive. Throughout the book, Bod encounters numerous dangers and adventures, including encounters with ghouls and witches, as well as attempts to unravel the mystery of his family and evade the threat posed by Jack and his associates. Ultimately, Bod must leave the graveyard and begin a new life among the living, leaving behind his unusual friends and mentors.
