Summary

In the book «On Her Majesty's Secret Service», James Bond, agent 007, embarks on a mission to stop the villain Ernst Stavro Blofeld, who plans to use biological weapons to destroy crops and livestock worldwide. Bond infiltrates Blofeld's organization by posing as a genealogist. During the mission, he meets and falls in love with Tracy di Vicenzo, the daughter of a mafia boss. Bond and Tracy marry, but their happiness is short-lived: at the end of the book, Blofeld kills Tracy, leaving Bond in grief and thirsting for revenge.
