Summary

The Trojan Women by Euripides is a tragedy that depicts the fates of the women of Troy following its fall. The action takes place the day after the city's destruction. The main characters are Hecuba, the widow of King Priam, her daughters Cassandra and Andromache, and Helen, the wife of Menelaus. Hecuba mourns her fate and that of her children.
