Brief Overview
Detective Hercule Poirot embarks on a Nile cruise, where he encounters the young and wealthy heiress Linnet Ridgeway, who has recently married Simon Doyle. Also on board is Simon's former fiancée, Jacqueline de Bellefort, who is stalking the couple. Soon, Linnet is found murdered, and Poirot begins his investigation. It is revealed that Jacqueline and Simon conspired to kill Linnet for her fortune. Jacqueline kills Simon and herself to avoid punishment. Poirot uncovers other crimes committed on board and restores justice.
