Main Characters and Their Development

• The protagonist - the narrator, a young man in love with the heroine. He describes his feelings and experiences, his love for the heroine grows stronger, but he cannot understand her enigmatic nature. Ultimately, he is left alone when the heroine enters a convent.
• The heroine - a young woman, mysterious and unpredictable. She is drawn to spiritual and religious matters, which gradually distances her from the protagonist. In the end, she decides to enter a convent, leaving the protagonist in solitude.
