Summary
In the book «Origin», Professor Robert Langdon arrives at the Guggenheim Museum in Bilbao for a presentation by his friend, futurist and billionaire Edmond Kirsch. Kirsch promises to unveil a scientific discovery that will answer two fundamental questions of humanity: «Where do we come from?» and «Where are we going?». However, before he can present his findings, he is murdered. Langdon, along with museum director Ambra Vidal, embarks on a perilous journey across Spain to decipher the key to Kirsch's discovery and make it public. Along the way, they encounter religious and political forces attempting to prevent the release of information that could change humanity's worldview. Ultimately, Langdon uncovers a secret concerning the origin of life and the future of humanity, based on scientific data and artificial intelligence.
