Inferno

Summary

In the book «Inferno», Professor Robert Langdon wakes up in an Italian hospital with amnesia, unable to remember how he got there. Soon, he discovers that he is being hunted, and together with Dr. Sienna Brooks, they embark on a journey through Florence to solve a mystery linked to Dante Alighieri's «Divine Comedy». Langdon and Brooks strive to prevent a global catastrophe planned by the brilliant scientist Bertrand Zobrist, who has created a virus capable of reducing the Earth's population. Their path takes them through numerous historical sites and cultural artifacts, ultimately confronting them with moral and ethical dilemmas related to the planet's overpopulation.
